‘East Meets West’ Summer Retreat
This last year (or two!) have really taught us that taking care of ourselves needs to be a priority.
You deserve to allow the stress of Western living to melt away.
You deserve to take time for yourself to tune into your breath and find your inner calm.
You deserve to be given nourishing foods and learn about Ayurveda teachings and Western Science of how to fuel yourself properly.
You deserve to be pampered.
On this beautiful ‘East meets West’ Summer Retreat we will use Eastern practices that tune into your inner calm along with using Western influences of Nutritional Science to empower healthy change. All this within a calming South Wales location.
What you should expect from the Summer Retreat is:
- A beautiful organic garden setting
- Grounding outdoor yoga practice
- Gong bath meditation
- Forest Bathing
- Vegan nutritious lunch, snacks and refreshments
- East meets West nutrition workshop
- Leaving gift
About the organisers:
Laura Bryan is an award winning Nutritional Therapist (Msc, mBANT, CNHC) and founder of Mind Nourishing.
After observing a huge link between poor mental health issues and highly processed diets in a previous community wellbeing role, Laura was inspired to throw herself into researching the link between food and mood and now specialises in this area. She works both with clients 1:1 and also through her membership to improve energy levels, overcome gut issues and of course, improve mindset and mental wellbeing.
As being quoted as ‘Making Fibre Sexy’, Laura has been featured in the Guardian Newspaper, is an expert nutritionist for Thrive Magazine and has won ‘Best in Specialist Health Consultancy’ for two years running (2020-2022) in the Wales Prestige Awards.
Lorna Bailey is the founder of Anavrin which is a South Wales based company that specialises in Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation.
Over 2 decades Lorna has not only practiced and lived a yogic lifestyle, she sought to gain qualifications to enable her to share the beautiful life changing effects Yoga can bring. What started out as a desire to help people help themselves, inevitably developed into a business to promote health and well being.
Lorna also runs a 5 acre community space to allow people to nurture in nature and sound baths.
